Community safety walkabouts have been hailed as a success in exploring the problems of crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB) on our streets.
Police officers and councillors joined a series of walkabouts in a bid to understand how best to tackle problems of crime and ASB.
After being launched by Tower Hamlets Council in October last year, the events have been held in 10 out of the 17 locations earmarked β with more walkabouts scheduled for the coming weeks.
Deputy mayor of Tower Hamlets Cllr Ohid Ahmed said: βThe walkabouts have been a real success and we are taking direct action as a result.β
The next event will be held on March 15 in Bow East.
