Four men related to a Poplar man who was fatally stabbed will appear at Stepney’s Thames Magistrates’ Court today charged in connection with his murder.
Liam Hamilton, 32, better known as Leo, of Plimsoll Road, was allegedly stabbed at the junction of Poplar High Street and Simpsons Road on Friday night.
Three of the accused are charged with murder and violent disorder. They are Noel Hamilton, 35, of Manchester Road, Cubbitt Town, Isle of Dogs; Thomas Hamilton, 36, of Poplar High Street, and Paul Hamilton, 29, of Woodstock Terrace, Poplar.
The fourth suspect, James Hamilton, 27, of Winchester House, New Festival Avenue, Poplar, is just charged with violent disorder.
