A man arrested following an ‘acid attack’ in Bethnal Green has been charged.
Rahad Hussain, 23, of no fixed abode, was charged on Friday with two counts of wounding with intent to cause GBH in Roman Road on July 25 and one count of possession of an offensive weapon (namely acid).
Mr Hussain was detained to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
He was arrested on July 27.
