Job hunters have the chance to get career advice and meet potential employers at a Jobs Fair in Bethnal Green on Thursday.
The event runs at 10am to 3pm at York Hall in Old Ford Road and there will be information about apprenticeships, volunteering and training as well as the opportunity to explore job opportunities.
Light refreshments will be available at the fair arranged by Tower Hamlets council for people living in Bethnal Green, Mile End and Bow.
Employers scheduled to be at the fair include Skillsmatch, British Gas, London Fire Brigade, Metropolitan Police, Connexions, Futureversity, GLL, Muslim Women’s Collective, ONS Census Project, Poetry in Wood, Limehouse Project, TBG Learning, Life Skills Solutions, Central Training, Careers London, One Housing Group, Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Job Centre Plus, Age Concern, IDCF, Old Ford Housing, Royal Navy & Royal Marines, Tower Hamlets College, East London NHS Foundation Trust, Fashion Retail Academy, Key Training, Learning World and Whitechapel Gallery.
