Man arrested after women stabbed in Wapping
Detectives investigating the stabbing of two women in Wapping have made an arrest.
A 32-year-old man was detained today in connection with two incidents in an area known as Wapping Woods, which have now been linked by police.
The first allegedly took place at around 6.25pm on December 4, as a 38-year-old woman walked through the park.
An attacker approached her holding a knife and attacked her before taking a digital camera from her bag and running off towards The Highway.
In the second, on Saturday at around 12.25pm, a 26-year-old woman was forced into bushes and stabbed.

The victim was taken to an east London hospital where she was in a serious condition.
