Man stabbed at Whitechapel station

A man in his twenties was hospitalised after being stabbed outside Whitechapel Underground Station.
Police rushed to the station in Whitechapel Road at 7.15pm last night after receiving reports of a man injured.
The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Whitechapel station was temporarily closed but has since reopened.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
