BRITISH Olympic hurdles hopeful Perri Shakes-Drayton is presenting Canary Wharf’s annual Sports Awards this-evening.
Perri, who won an award herself at Canary Wharf in 2005, makes the presentation at the East Wintergarden to mark East London’s sporting prowess and dedication over the past year.
All of the previous winners of the main award have invited back to the 10th anniversary of the awards.
Main award is ‘Sports Personality of the Year.’ Others are for best Junior Team, Senior Team and Group, as well as awards for ‘special recognition’, ‘special achievement’ and ‘voluntary commitment’.
