Detectives have today released the image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a 12-year-old girl.
Officers would like to speak to 36-year-old Parminder Thindh following the incident on July 7.
The girl was on a 101 bus from Manor Park heading west at approximately 8.15am when a man got on near Ruskin Avenue and stood next to her.
As the bus became more crowded, he allegedly began to touch her without looking at her.
The bus became more crowded and the girl said she had to push his hand away as she got off the bus a stop early.
Det Con Lee Warrington said: “The young girl was left extremely distressed. Sexual assaults are totally unforgivable.”
Police are appealing for anyone recognising the man pictured to contact 101 or via Twitter @MetCC or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
