A Metropolitan Police staff member who persuaded a woman to perform oral sex on him while she was being held in custody has pleaded guilty to misconduct in a public office.
Kyle Adams engaged in sexual activity with a woman at Bethnal Green Police Station while she was being detained in October last year.
Adams, 24, was working as a detention officer at the station, in Victoria Park Square, at the time of the offence.
The woman reported the incident to the custody sergeant on October 3 2012, and Adams was arrested later on the same day. He was later suspended and resigned from his post.
Adams, of Barking, pleaded guilty to the offence at Southwark Crown Court on Monday. He will be sentenced on September 2.
