The public gets a chance to quiz police, fire brigade and Town Hall officials tomorrow on how crime and community safety is being tackled in London’s East End.
An open forum is being staged in Whitechapel by the Tower Hamlets Police & Community Safety Board which includes discussions on drug dealing, anti-social street yobs and violence against women.
The Wednesday evening ‘Question Time’ forum is being staged at Whitechapel’s Attlee Centre in Thrawl Street, off Commercial Street, at 6.30pm, when panel members include the Met’s Borough Commander Dave Stringer, Fire Brigade Borough Commander Bruce Epsly and the council’s ‘Safer Communities’ head Andy Amber.
Places can be booked by calling 020-7364 1613, or emailing abu.sufian@towerhamlets.gov.uk
