STAFF and pupils at Sir John Cass school in Stepney are celebrating a ‘fantastic’ set of GCSE results.
As data emerges about the school’s performance, figures show an almost 20 per cent increase in some areas.
The school posted an amazing 100 per cent pass rate for pupils achieving five or more GCSEs without English and maths.
And results show the pass rate for pupils who pass five or more GCSEs including English and maths leapt up from 55 per cent.
Headteacher Haydn Evans said: “We are delighted with the figures and can’t wait to get stuck in to the data and find out more.
“Colleagues are delighted and already talking about setting even higher targets for next year.
