A 17-year-old boy was shot in the back in Poplar, east London.
The teenager is in a stable condition in hospital after the shooting in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to East India Dock Road close to the junction with Saracen Street at around 1.50am.
The incident is being investigated by detectives from the Met’s Trident shootings team which deals with gun crime in London’s black communities.
