STAR of the Only Way is Essex Adam Ryan passed on some tips about breaking into the fashion industry when he visited a Bethnal Green school last week.
Adam, who featured in the ITV 2 series, has launched his design label, One Off One You, and an events business that will stage Essex Fashion Week.
He was at Oaklands School in Old Bethnal Green Road to help judge charity T-shirts designs produced by Year 9 students as part of the ‘Passport to Employability’ programme delivered by Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership.
The students had to present their creative design ideas and their grasp of budgeting, profit forecasting and marketing.
Also watching the presentations was a group of senior managers from global investment bank, Nomura and the panel voted the T-shirt design modelled by 14 year-old Adelina Watson as the winner.
