Antisocial behaviour is being clamped down on by Tower Hamlets Enforcement Officers (THEOs) on the Isle of Dogs.

Two arrests were made at last week’s community safety walkabout on the Samuda estate, and a total of four antisocial behaviour injunctions have been granted since the operation began in October.

Mayor of Tower Hamlets Lutfur Rahman said: “I am pleased the walkabouts are having a real impact on the community by making our streets safer.

“This is an excellent example of the council and its partners working together to make residents lives better.”

Community safety walkabouts were launched as part of a bid to tackle antisocial behaviour and raise awareness of common safety concerns.
