Detectives have charged three men for the theft of a cash machine from Victoria Park during the Olympic Games.
The men are alleged to have stolen the machine – which contained £21,000 cash – in August, from the Live Nation Olympic site in Victoria Park.
It belonged to the Cash on the Move company, with its theft prompting an investigation by Tower Hamlets police.
The three men charged with theft are Freddie Agius, 21, of Penhurst Road, Hackney, Joey John, 23, and Jay John, 20, both of Victoria Park Road.
All three are due to appear at Thames Magistrates Court on May 21.
