A police officer is due in court next month charged with the theft of £47 - from a suspect’s vehicle.
PC Nikky Smith, who is based in Tower Hamlets, is accused of committing the opportunistic crime while working on February 15.
He was suspended following his arrest that month.
The 31-year-old man will appear at West London Magistrates Court on May 22.
