The man seen in a video released by Scotland Yard who was in conflict with a cyclist in Whitechapel has walked into a police station.
The Met Police had issued footage showing a cyclist turning into Sidney Street from Whitechapel Road without stopping for a pedestrian on a crossing.
The footage taken from the woman cyclist’s helmet video recorder then shows what appears to be a conflict further down Sidney Street.
The pedestrian involved walked into Bethnal Green police station after the footage was seen on websites including the East London Advertiser.
He has not been arrested in connection with the incident, which occurred on May 1, but is being questioned at a later stage, Scotland Yard confirmed this-afternoon.
