A cyclist was rushed to hospital after a collision with a car at rush hour on Monday evening.
The bumper of a car was ripped off in the incident, which happened at the junction of Bow Road and Alfred Street.
Eyewitnesses said the incident happened after the car emerged from the junction into Bow Road.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed a man, believed to be in his early 40s, was taken to the Royal London Hospital after suffering ankle and shoulder injuries.
