Danny Webb promoted to work with Leyton Orient first team

33-year-old will assist Andy Hessenthaler and Andy Edwards with the first team during the 2016/17 campaign
Leyton Orient have revealed youth team coach Danny Webb has been promoted to work alongside Andy Hessenthaler with the first team.
The 33-year-old has been with the Brisbane Road outfit for five years and began with the under-14s.
Since then he has progressed through the age groups and led the under-16s to National Category Three Cup final glory in 2014.
Webb stepped up to assist Academy Director Andy Edwards at the start of last season with the under-18s.

After Edwards was promoted to assist Kevin Nolan on a more regular basis, Webb led the O’s youngsters to the Merit League Two title – finishing unbeaten from their 10 games.
The ex-Southend United player will now work with the first team alongside Hessenthaler and Edwards next year.

It is another positive move by the club with the 33-year-old highly respected at Brisbane Road.
He has played a part in seeing Aron Pollock and Sam Sargeant break into the first team and make their debuts towards the end of the 2015/16 campaign. Now he will hope to bring success to the first team.
Omer Riza, who was working with the Orient under-14s last season, is set to replace Webb and work with the under-18s.
