Sam Dalby and Ruel Sotiriou will get another chance to impress Steve Davis and O’s fans next Wednesday
Leyton Orient are set to host Biggleswade Town in the first round of the FA Youth Cup next Wednesday (November 8) looking to build on their recent 4-0 win over Hornchurch.
Danny Webb’s under-18s produced an assured display in E10 to put four past their local rivals in the third qualifying round on October 25.
Sam Dalby bounced back from missing a first-half penalty to score twice with Hector Kyprianou and Teddy Perkins also on target.
It put Orient through to the first round proper where they’ll entertain the Waders and look to impress again in front of their home fans.

Webb, when speaking to the official club website, said: “It will be about what we do and how we turn up and approach the game.
“If we are professional then that’s all I can ask because they are young players, so they will make mistakes and have bad days at the office.

“But if they keep showing the attitude and commitment they showed against Hornchurch then they’ll always have half a chance.”
It has been a mixed couple of months for the academy with their results up and down in the Youth Alliance South East division.
The O’s have suffered heavy defeats against the likes of Stevenage and MK Dons, while they also lost by a two-goal margin to Southend United, AFC Wimbledon and Northampton Town, but Webb’s seen plenty of positives with a lot of the squad just 16-years-old.
October proved to be a more productive month with wins over Peterborough United and Tower Hamlets (FA Youth Cup), before a respectable 2-2 draw against Dagenham & Redbridge last weekend.
“We’ve played a lot of league games and there’s only been a couple where I have had to be quite stern with the players and disappointed with the all-round performance,” said Webb.
“Even during the times we’ve been smashed, there has been real positives to work with and recently defensively we’ve been really solid, which we showed against Hornchurch.
“Hornchurch are no mugs and most of their youth-team have probably been at pro clubs some time in their life, so it was a real tough game.”
