A ‘dash to donate’ challenge is aiming to encourage people to drop off clothes, books and toys cleared out in their spring clean to charity shops.
Disability charity Scope is urging people to come forward with goods next week, with the organisation pledging that anything received will be sold by the shop to fund its work with disabled people and their families.
The charity has teamed up with storage company Safestore for the week in a bid to stash as many donations as they can away.
Drop off your unwanted goods to the Safestore at 85 Stepney Way, Whitechapel, between Monday May 27 and Sunday June 3.
