DJs are lining up for a charity event this Friday in memory of a former East End Club manger who lost his battle to bowel cancer.

The Rhythm Factory on Whitechapel Road is bringing together DJs including Fabio from BBC's Radio One for the event celebrating the life of the club's ex-manager Johnny "Rhythm" Sedassy.

The line-up is made up of DJs who helped develop the Traffic sound and identity in memory of the man, who opened the club's doors to the capital's Drum and Bass Scene.

The proceeds from the event will go to the Michael Sobell House hospice. Entry is £5 before 1am and £8 after. Doors are open from 11pm to 6am.
