Driver in hospital after Mile End crash

A MAN is in hospital after he was injured in a car crash in Mile End yesterday afternoon.

Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to the collision between a green A Class Mercedes and a Skoda in Burdett Road at 2.30pm yesterday (Wednesday).

The driver of the Mercedes has been taken to a central London hospital where his injuries are described as not life changing.

The male driver of the Skoda was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Burdett Road was closed for seven hours due to the incident.
