A DRIVER was injured trapped in a traffic-light collision on the A11 in East London early this-morning when his car was hit by another vehicle which failed to stop.
He had pulled up at the lights in Mile End Road in Stepney Green, at the crossroads with Whitehorse Lane and Globe Road, when his Toyota was hit at 2am.
Fire crews managed to get him out on a stretcher through the rear door. The 40-year-old had suspected whiplash injury and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Police were later looking for the second car involved.
