A COMPANY which began from a run-down business centre which now exports pharmaceutical data around the world has been given the Royal seal of approval.
Evaluate Pharma, which has grown into today’s global data information provider in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, has been given the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
The company has a network of high-tech staff around the country controlled from its City Fringe’ Spitalfields headquarters in Fashion Street, off Commercial Street, where it moved to 12 years ago from south London.
The business, set up in 1996 by Dr Jonathan de Pass, provides insight into the commercial and financial prospects of the industry and is said to be the first company to have provided reliable forecasts of global drug sales. It provides pharmaceutical trade data to businesses and organisations across the globe.
