A CONFERENCE to help Asian women get access to vocational, educational and career opportunities is being held at an East London university.
The event is open to Asian women including Tower Hamlets residents will be held at the University of East London and will give people the chance to develop skills, explore ideas and gain an understanding of what employers want through interactive workshops. Representatives from Aanchal Women's Aid and Barclays Capital Mentoring Programme will be attending to provide support and advice.
Jasbir Panesar, community manager at the University of East London said: "Access to educational and employment opportunities are vital to enable people of all ages to achieve their full potential. There are many positive role models for women, and it is inspiring to see the contributions that Asian women are now making in the wider community."
