SCHOOLKIDS who spent part of their summer holiday in East London learning the practical aspects of running a business have donated their profits to charity.
The youngsters from East End secondary schools attended a summer business school organised by Tower Hamlets local education authority and Education Business Partnership.
They set up mock companies to design and produce hand-made gifts that they sold to Bank of America staff at their offices in the City.
The teenage entrepreneurs covered their costs and earned a 300 profit which they have voted to donate to Cancer Research UK.
