SOMEONE is walking around London’s deprived East End not knowing they’ve won almost 300,000.

A winning lottery ticket bought in Tower Hamlets for the draw on July 24 is still unclaimed, the National Lottery operators confirmed today.

The ticket matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star in the Euro Millions’ draw.

“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed the winner comes forward,” said a Lottery spokesman. “This could really make a difference to somebody’s life.”

The mystery winner from London’s most deprived borough has until January 20 to claim the 286,508 prize, or the money goes to the Good Causes fund.
