East End Pc killed in road collision after taking daughter swimming

A police officer was killed in a motorcycle road accident in east London after taking his daughter swimming.

Shazahan Wadud, 29, died following a collision with a car in Wanstead on Sunday evening.

He had been on his way to Limehouse police station where he was a response officer answering emergency 999 calls.

His devastated father spoke this week of the man who “got on with everyone” who died at the scene of the crash.

“The whole family is devastated,” said Abdul Wadud. “He was a lovely guy who loved his job and got on well with everyone.
