Rhythmic students from two East End secondary schools performed their dance routines to a sold out audience at a prestigious dance threatre over the weekend.

Swanlea and Mulberry teenagers had been preparing for the event, Step Live, which was sponsored by the Jack Petchey Foundation, for the past few months with afterschool rehearsals and classes.

Styles like Bollywood, hip hop, contemporary and jazz were part of the tuition and the scheme was overseen by top industry choreographers.
