THE LICENCE of a popular East London venue is under the spotlight tonight.

Residents triggered the review of the The Troxy licence in Commercial Road in Limehouse after handing in a dossier of complaints about anti-social behaviour and problems with parking near the art deco venue.

Tower Hamlets licensing sub-committee are looking at the licence at their meeting tonight.

Managers have said they have increased patrols of streets round the area to dissuade customers from disturbing residents nearby and to clamp down on illegal parking.
