GROT spots in the East End are in the sights of the WI.
Richard Reynolds who got the guerrilla gardening movement off the ground in the UK is speaking at tonight's meeting of the East End Women's Institute which starts at 7.30pm for 8pm at the Chisenhale Gallery in Chisenhale Road, Bow.
Admission costs 3 for non members and visitors.
Richard's motto is "fight the filth with forks and flowers" and over a slice of cake the WI group is planning to vote for a likely spot which could be spruced up with some plants.
WI members in East London are no strangers to guerrilla gardening - the Stoke Newington group got gardening to spruce up a neglected spot.
