A back copy of the East London Advertiser used in horror film 28 Weeks Later has had a £125 price tag slapped on it.
The paper is nestled behind a mocked-up wraparound cover of the District One Gazette, the fictional paper featured in the 2007 sequel to 28 Days Later.
Film memorabilia site Prop Store, which is selling the paper, boasts that the front cover is “wrapped around a real ‘East London Advertiser’”, giving the reader an unrivalled insight into the workings of Tower Hamlets.
But East London Advertiser editor Malcolm Starbrook warned readers not to accept imitations.
“You’d have to be a zombie to pass up on the real deal!” he joked.
