SCHOOLKIDS from East London were among 2,000 treated to a day out at the seaside on Saturday on the south coast.
The 94 youngsters aged eight to 11 from Holmleigh Primary in Hackney joined the Royal Variety Club of Great Britain's annual seaside trip and spent the sunny day in the Sussex resort of Littlehampton.
Teacher Brenda Sullivan, 61, who has accompanied Holmleigh pupils on the annual trips for 30 years, was rewarding youngsters for 'good behaviour' with a day of fun and fresh air.
