A Jubilee fun run saw pupils from George Green’s school don fancy dress outfits based on the Royal Family and the Olympics.
Pupils from all of the school’s age ranges were represented in the run, which took place on Friday June 1, and many of them raised money for charities including the Make a Wish Foundation, Macmillan and chrone’s disease charity Circa.
Pupils were joined by a group of elite runners, as well as the family of Kye Taylor, a former pupil of George Green’s who sadly passed away recently. Runners covered a route around the Isle of Dogs and Canary Wharf, and finished in time for a picnic lunch.
