Architecture students are set to host an exhibition exploring the “redefinition of the skyscraper” next month.

Featuring projects from 11 students enrolled at the Canterbury School of Architecture in Bethnal Green, the exhibition aims to highlight some of the most exciting work produced by students during the academic year.

Works reflect issues facing urban areas today, including population increase, pollution and waste management.

They are all concerned with the question of how the skyscraper can improve urban areas in the 21st century.

The event, called “Ergodicity – An Exploration into Urbanity, a Redefinition of the Skyscraper” will run on Thursday May 2 and Friday May 3.
