Crossrail has reappointed its non-executive chairman Terry Morgan for another three-year term from May 31.

It comes as excavation for the new Canary Wharf station is complete and the recent opening of the company’s east London construction academy now training the next generation of tunnellers.

He overseas the main tunnelling about to start, lasting two-and-a-half years, when eight giant boring machines begin pushing through 14 miles of twin-bore tunnels under London.
