YOUNGSTERS have given up a week of their school holiday to polish their business skills.
They signed up for a Summer Business school in London's East End run by Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership.
The first week of the break saw the 12 to 14-year-olds from Swanlea, Mulberry and Bow secondary schools take part.
The focus of the five-day course run at Swanlea in Whitechapel was setting up their own companies with each team member given a role.
They selected products to make, price and market, then pitched a product idea and business case to a panel of judges.
