An exhibition about the role of warfare in children’s games is set to take place next month.
War Games, which will explore children’s play from 1800 to the present day, will be at the V&A Museum of Childhood.
“The exhibition will provide an opportunity for visitors to investigate how toys recreate and represent war, and ask them to question this often controversial subject,” a museum spokesman said.
The show will feature over 100 artifacts from the museum’s own collection, as well as loans from the Imperial War Museum and the Museum of London.
The exhibition opens on May 25 at the museum in Cambridge Heath Road in Bethnal Green.
