Fiona Millar, the former advisor to Cherie Blair, visited Bishop Challoner school last week to talk to students about her experiences balancing a successful career with raising children.
Speaking at the girls school in Stepney, the partner of former Labour spin doctor Alistair Campbell drew on her experiences raising three children which led to her writing a book, The Secret Life Of The Working Mother.
She has also written extensively on education issues, and touched on her opposition to the Coalition’s introduction of free schools during her visit.
