It’s potato day at Spitalfields City Farm this Sunday as the crop is celebrated with activities for children and adults alike.
Down the farm in Buxton Street there will be potato printing for children, tips on growing spuds in containers and a potato peeling competition.
Hot soup cooked on the fire will be served up along with potato scones and sweets created by young farmers. The event is from 12 to 2pm and lunch is served at around 1pm.
