The launch of a garden society in the East End tomorrow is attracting politicians.
London Mayoral candidate for the Liberal Democrates will be launching The East London Garden Society and Labour MP for Poplar and Limehouse Jim Fitzpatrick will also be speaking at the event.
Liberal Democrat Geoff Juden said: “The purpose of the society is have a forum between gardeners, to raise funds for gardening and to hold an annual garden exhibition.” The group has set up a Facebook page.
The launch is at 5pm at St Matthias Church, Woodstock Terrace in Poplar.
