MP Jim Fitzpatrick pulled a pint at a historic East End pub to mark the start of British Pub Week.
The MP for Poplar and Limehouse helped kick-start the national beer festival at the Bow Bells on Bow Road last Friday.
British Pub week which lasts until Saturday is aimed at encouraging young and old to enjoy their local pub.
Last year David Cameron visited his local pub, close to the Prime Minister’s country retreat, Chequers, in Buckinghamshire, as part of the festival.
