A host of golden daffodils was planted by youngsters as part of a host of celebrations to mark their new school’s first 100 days.
Pupils at CET Primary School planted 100 bulbs, while other events saw them bringing in 100 small items each, such as pieces of Lego or pennies, and making healthy pizzas as part of a cookery lesson.
The free school in Mile End Road, which opened its doors in September 2012, is run by the educational charity Constable Educational Trust (CET).
The 100th day fell last Tuesday (February 12) and headteacher Helen O’Donoghue said: “We believe in using London as our classroom and have had fantastic learning adventures.”
