Queen Mary University has excelled in a recent survey charting student satisfaction levels, coming in top among the elite Russell Group universities based in London.

The university, which has its main campus in Mile End, saw 87 per cent of its students respond that they were satisfied with their course; a figure which is two per cent higher than the national average.

The results were published as part of the 2012 National Student Survey which questions students on many aspects of their university experience.

Susan Dilly, Queen Mary’s vice principal for teaching and learning, said: “We’re extremely pleased with the consistently impressive satisfaction rating from our students, This is the fifth year in a row that we have scored above 84 per cent.”
