An education charity is aiming to set up a school for budding entrepreneurs in east London.
The Aldridge Foundation, set up to “help young people to reach their potential and improve their communities,” is applying to open a professional and vocational school for young people aged 14-19.
The Aldridge Centre for Entrepreneurship will “allow students to develop real businesses while acquiring other qualifications” if it is able to open in Tower Hamlets, according to its website.
“The Aldridge Foundation believes that we need to integrate a high quality entrepreneurship curriculum into education,” the website adds.
The school is hoping to open to pupils in Tower Hamlets in September 2015.
