Gingy and the Tooth Fairy looked in on kids on the Isle of Dogs during a break from their school lessons.

The characters from Shrek The Musical delighted the youngsters at St Edmund’s RC Primary in Westferry Road, Cubitt Town.

The visit by the DreamWorks theatre company was in aid of the Place2Be children’s charity’s Big Birthday Bake Off fundraiser celebrations.

The national charity, which has its headquarters in Islington, provides mental and emotional support services in schools.
