SPORTS sessions have been set up for the kids living in the Isle of Dogs by Leyton Orient football bosses.

Professional coaches from the top club are running sessions in soccer and basketball at St Andrew's youth centre at George Green's Secondary School, at Cubitt Town youth centre and at Poplar's Aspen Way ball cage.

The sessions which began this week are free to the kids-all paid for by the Isle of Dogs Community Foundation.

They allow boys and girls from 11 to 18 the chance to try their hand at sports, which includes a girls-only football session at George Green's school.
