Students took centre stage and enjoyed the limelight at an awards night celebrating their academic prowess.
The high achievers were rewarded for their efforts at Tower Hamlets College’s annual awards evening held at the Grange Hotel, in Tower Bridge, last week.
TV’s One Show host Angelica Bell handed out the awards which celebrate the students’ individual achievements right across the college’s curriculum.
Gerry McDonald, CEO at the Poplar High Street college, said: “We have seen and heard this evening about the inspiring personal journeys achieved by many of our students, which once again shows the value of further education to people’s lives.
“Our students should rightly be very proud of their accomplishments and enjoy being in the spotlight.
