A successful women’s football club have brought the beautiful game to the East End.
KIKK United – who have won two championships and were runners up in last year’s London and South East Regional Women’s League – have just relocated from Regent’s Park to Mile End Park stadium.
Town Hall health chiefs are hoping their presence will spur more East End women to take up the game.
Football has been named as one of Tower Hamlets main target sports.
